Alex O. Boulton is a historian and the author of several works on cultural history. He has written books on Frank Lloyd Wright and on the Peloponnesian War. He is currently working on a book tentatively titled Thomas Jefferson and the Language of Race, and another titled Thomas Jefferson’s Family. He lives in Baltimore Maryland.
The entries under the title “Villager” were originally written for the school’s online newspaper, Stevenson Villager.com from February 2016 to April 2017. It was a very interesting year. I stopped writing them when the school editor thought that they were becoming too political.
